Mortar Architecture + Development has released new renderings for 340 Metropolitan Avenue, a forthcoming mixed-use project in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that the firm is both designing and developing. As reported by YIMBY last year, the seven-story structure will contain ten condominiums spanning approximately 10,500 square feet, with 390 square feet of ground-floor retail.
The building’s façade is bisected by a distinctive metal-sheathed external stairway featuring a diagrid pattern. Private outdoor balconies flank the stairway at each level, with the largest outdoor spaces at the roof of the structure.
An estimated completion date and anticipated value of each residence has not yet been announced.
