Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 168 East 111th Street in East Harlem, Manhattan. Located between Lexington Avenue and Third Avenue, the lot is one block north of the 110th Street subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Ke An Chen under the KJ East III Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 37,346 square feet, with 29,262 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 42 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 696 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 34-foot-long rear yard.
Chi F. Lau Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in July of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
