Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 2555 West 16th Street in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Located between Bay 50th Street and Avenue Z, the lot is near the Bay 50th Street subway station, serviced by the D train. Yue Day Li under the De Chang Development LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 8,421 square feet, with 6,248 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have seven units, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 892 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a 30-foot-long rear yard and six enclosed parking spaces.
Suresh Manchanda of L&C Associates is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in December of last year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
