Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 2086 5th Avenue in Harlem, Manhattan. Located between East 128th Street and East 129th Street, the lot is three blocks north of the 125th Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains. The Harlem-125th Street MetroNorth station is also a short walk away. Joel Berkowitz under the Madison Management LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 19,085 square feet for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 2,385 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a penthouse.
Naresh Mahangu of NY Building Associates Inc is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
