Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 136 Sutter Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Sutter Avenue, the lot is near the Saratoga Avenue subway station, serviced by the 3 train. Aron Katz under the Sutter Residence LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 8,880 square feet, with 8,385 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 838 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and penthouse.
MHM Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in October 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
