Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 112 Schaefer Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Central Avenue and Evergreen Avenue, the interior lot is five blocks from the Wilson Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Chuan Jin Lin under the 104 Otis LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 8,096 square feet, with 6,596 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 825 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 43-foot-long rear yard.
Jung Y. Shin is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in January 2020 for the two-story house on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
