Permits have been filed for a ten-story hotel building at 290 East 150th Street in Melrose, The Bronx. Located between Morris Avenue and Courtlandt Avenue, the through lot is two blocks west of the Third Avenue-149th Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Kaushik Patel under the Melrose Hotel LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 105-foot-tall development will yield 26,354 square feet, with 22,031 square feet designated for commercial space and 7,300 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 70 hotel rooms, with an average unit scope of 315 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 22-foot-long rear yard.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
