Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 822 Evergreen Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Piling Street and Evergreen Avenue, the lot is three blocks from the Bushwick Avenue-Aberdeen Street subway station, serviced by the L train. The Par Group under the Medford Ber LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 58,486 square feet, with 40,634 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 60 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 677 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 36 enclosed parking spaces.

Marin Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. I lived 2 blocks away from here over *25 years ago** and said for YEARS that housing should be put up on that lot (wish I’d have gone into real estate years ago, just about all these spots I ‘saw’ housing on them ‘before’ the developers came around. Amazing!
