In an exclusive update, IMC Architecture has revealed final renderings of a new seven-story residential building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The property is located at 550 Prospect Place near the northern tip of Prospect Park.
The residential building will eventually comprise 45,119 gross square feet. Total residential area will measure 31,415 square feet divided into 41 rental units. On-site amenities will include a communal lounge, a business center, a gym, a roof-level terrace, and parking area designed to accommodate 98 vehicles.
The façade will be comprised of dappled gray brick and recessed floor-to-ceiling windows with black mullions arranged in a staggered pattern, similar in style to many of the new residential buildings recently completed or under construction in the neighborhood.
Local developer Steven Hurwitz of CAVU Property Group is responsible for the project, where excavation and pre-construction have already begun. At this phase, it is not clear when the property is expected to debut.
