Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1492 Bryant Avenue in Crotona Park East, The Bronx. Located between Jennings Street and East 172nd Street, the lot is within walking distance of 174th Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Eduard Haxhari under the 1492 Bryant Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 6,595 square feet, with 6,133 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 11 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 557 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a 34-foot-long rear yard but no accessory parking.
Jakov Saric of Node Architecture Engineering Consulting is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
