Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 2423 Barker Avenue in Allerton, The Bronx. Located between Waring Avenue and Mace Avenue, the interior lot is within walking distance from the Allerton Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Franco Sukaj is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 32,753 square feet, with 25,775 square feet designated for residential space and 504 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 38 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 678 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 40-foot-long rear yard.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
