Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 2721 Colden Avenue in Allerton, The Bronx. Located between Allerton Avenue and Arnow Avenue, the through lot is walking distance from the Allerton Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. J. Pilla Group under the 2712 Radcliff Yates Reality LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 45,639 square feet, with 29,294 square feet designated for residential space and 3,627 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 43 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 681 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Richard Vitto of OCV Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in October of last year for the garage on the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
