Demolition is complete and construction is set to begin on a seven-story residential building at 2809 Clarendon Road in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The structure will top out at 70 feet tall and span 11,232 square feet, with 16 units ranging from one- to three-bedroom spreads. There will also be on-site parking for 11 vehicles and an unspecified collection of amenity spaces.
Permits submitted to the Department of Buildings name Naresh Mahangu of NY Building Associates as the architect of record. Recent renderings, most likely credited to Mahangu’s design team, illustrate a white cementitious façade with composite wood materials at the base and up the center of the main elevation. A series of eight cantilevered balconies from the third through sixth floors are enclosed by a translucent glass railing and black metal supports.
To date, the development is on track to debut in the second quarter of 2021.
