Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 82 Calyer Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located between West Street and Franklin Street, the interior lot is a short walk to the Greenpoint Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Unique Developers under the Franklin 33 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 79,801 square feet, with 54,484 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 80 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 681 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 32 enclosed parking spaces.
Stephen Conte of StudioSC Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in October 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
