Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1408 Prospect Avenue in Crotona Park East, The Bronx. Located between Jennings Street and East 170th Street, the interior lot is a 10-minute walk from the Freeman Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Boris Bangiyev under the 1434 Holdings LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 4,454 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 557 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 19-foot-long rear yard.
Mohammad Baalbaki of B&Z Consulting Engineers, PC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in July 2020 for a three-story building. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
