Construction has officially begun at NorthLight, a 246-unit rental property in Sleepy Hollow, New York. Located on the shores of the Hudson River just north of the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, the new building is located within Edge-on-Hudson, a $1 billion mixed-use, residential community.
Hines, the developer responsible for the project, worked with Santander Bank to finance associated construction costs.
“Today marks an exciting milestone for our Edge-on-Hudson project and we are thrilled to expand our multifamily portfolio in Sleepy Hollow with the addition of NorthLight at Edge-on-Hudson,” said Tommy Craig, Hines senior managing director. “With its excellent amenities and irreplaceable location, NorthLight will set a new standard for living in the area.”
NorthLight at Edge-on-Hudson will comprise a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 565 square feet up to 1,406 square feet. Each home will include high-end finishes and thoughtfully designed floor plans to maximize comfort and view of the surrounding community and the Hudson River.
Future occupants will have access to a 17,000-square-foot outdoor courtyard that contains a swimming pool, fitness deck, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, green spaces, and lounge areas. Additional amenity spaces include a roof deck, an indoor clubhouse with co-working spaces, a fitness center, a children’s playroom, a communal kitchen and wine lounge, temperature-controlled storage space, bicycle parking, and a pet spa.
The property will also introduce 427 new parking spaces housed within a five-story, partially enclosed garage that provides access to each residential floor.
Leasing is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2022 with delivery later that year in the third quarter.

Sleepy Hollow? Interesting to see new development there. However, this building is just a little bit of a mess in its design, especially the corner facade that is seen in the rendering.
I would love living here peaceful. I’m disabled & retired from everything need handicapped and furnished apartment.
Very interested. Keep me updated
