Permits have been filed for a six-story community facility building at 1401 Inwood Avenue in Mount Eden, The Bronx. Located between West 170th Street and Macombs Road, the lot is one block west of the 170th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Tamela Sweeris under the Highbridge Facilities LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 67,916 square feet designated for the Family Life Academy Charter School. The steel-based structure will also have a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Rainer Schrom from Partners for Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
