One Clinton Park, a new 28-story mixed-use tower, has officially topped out in New Rochelle. Located at 55 Clinton Place, the building will contain 352 market-rate apartments and introduce more than 13,000 square feet of retail space to the city’s downtown center.
From developer RXR Realty, the building broke ground in 2020 and is on track for completion by early 2022. One Clinton Park is the first phase of a dual-tower development that will also include a sister structure at Two Clinton Park. The tower at One Clinton Park comprises 433,000 square feet and has already created 250 on-site construction jobs and will create additional opportunities once completed and open for business.
“We’re proud to celebrate another milestone in our role as master developer of New Rochelle’s downtown,” said Scott Rechler, chairman and CEO of RXR Realty. “As long-term investors in New Rochelle’s downtown, we look forward to doubling down on our operational philosophy of ‘Doing Good and Doing Well means Doing Better’ in the years ahead.”
In the past five years, RXR has made significant community investments to help revitalize the city’s urban core, including the initiation of a $1 million COVID relief fund. One Clinton Park will support the long-term health of the Downtown New Rochelle community, encourage new retail and small businesses, and attract renters to help rebuild its tax base. I like the gentleness of the design of One Clinton Park. The nice curve and the glass add up for a very solid tower. Nice.
I need a 2 bebroom apartment
How can I apply for New Rochelle locations?
Is this property gonna have affordable rental prices. Will you all be accepting Section 8
It is very beautiful with the proportion of structure, all designed really beautiful; challenging all eyes: Thanks to New York YIMBY.
Will you have apartments for individuals over 55 or 60 years of age at affordable housing rates as per HUD guidelines?
Why are they building so many new apartments at MARKET RATE? Who is going to rent in all these buildings? I am sure many apartments will stay empty rather then open them up to low income seniors and low income families.
Where can I get an application to apply for archer green.kindly send it to my email
I applied from last year feb and no update.
How can I applied for a 2 bedroom apartment for new Rochelle or Queens
If they are really serious about attracting permanent residents to downtown New Rochelle than rentals are the wrong answer. This high rise should be a condominium tower which would attract permanent residents who will own their living spaces which will make them more a part of the community. It would also give residents some equity as well. Otherwise it is an aesthetically pleasing high rise development with some beautiful modernist features.
The idea of them building all these building are awesome! But what is going to attract anyone to live in these building with nothing but dollar stores and hair salons on Main Street. There are a handful of restaurants, no real nightlife or bars to go out too. You have buildings already renting on Main Street that can’t even fill the building and giving free months. New rochelle did not think this one out before allowing this. All they saw was a paycheck.
It will be like this for a bit, there will be a lot of new things that will attarct new residents. Here’s a few,’The Linc’ a 1 mile long park, will be constructed at memorial highway,it’ll get a lot of the new residdnts to walk around downtown. There’s also Pratt Landing, which will include a promenade park and retail along the waterfront. Also, Hudson Park is getting a huge over hual improvement. New greenery, a boardwalk, promenade, tall slides on the hill side etc.
