Permits have been filed for two five-story residential buildings at 37-39 Meserole Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between South 4th Street and Lorimer Street, the adjacent lots are three blocks north of the Broadway subway station, serviced by the G train and a short walk to the Hewes Street station, serviced by the M and J trains. Jiali Zeng under the Sunny Tsang LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall developments will each yield 5,475 square feet, with 4,448 square feet designated for residential space. The buildings will have six residences apiece, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 741 square feet. The steel-based structures will also have cellars, penthouses, and 44-foot-long rear yards.
Li Architect Associate is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in late 2020 for a one-story warehouse structure on the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
