Quinlan Development Group recently celebrated the commencement of construction at 230 Classon Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The forthcoming multifamily building will stand 17 stories and comprise 143,000 square feet.
Designed by DXA Studio, the brown-brick structure will house 138 one- and two-bedroom rental apartments. All available properties will include either a balcony or a yard for private use. Quinlan has also confirmed that 30 percent of available homes will be designated affordable, although no specification has been given regarding how deeply affordable the properties will be.
The grounds of the property call for 8,700 square feet of communal outdoor space. This includes a private street-level park, landscaped outdoor space on the third floor, and a furnished roof deck. Scope of development also calls for the creation of parking area for 98 vehicles.
Indoor amenity spaces, spanning 4,200 square feet, will include a study lounge and business center, bicycle storage, general tenant storage, a fitness center, a dog run, and a recreational lounge. The latter will house pool table, television, and entertainment kitchen.
The project is expected to be completed by spring 2023.
