Ironstate Development Company and The Pegasus Group have launched the next phase of leasing at The Eddy, a rental community in Harrison, New Jersey. The community is located at 555 First Street near the Passaic River waterfront and was designed in collaboration by Front Studio Architects, Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, and BG Studio.
Buildings, amenity spaces, and homes within the complex can be described as playful industrial-chic.
The complex comprises several interconnected volumes ranging from four to six stories. Vibrant building façades are comprised of iridescent brick with metal accents ranging from dark grays to red, blues, and stark white. Inside, the contemporary residences offer bright, airy living spaces. Each residence includes appliances, in-home washer and dryers, and keyless door entry technology.
“The Eddy has quickly resonated with renters looking for a modern lifestyle experience characterized by well-appointed living spaces, forward thinking amenities, and a convenient location,” said Michael Barry, president of Ironstate Development Company. “With more and more people returning to vibrant urban settings, this is an ideal time to introduce the next section of homes and welcome additional residents to The Eddy.”
The project team spared little expense to complete the community’s outdoor amenity spaces, which are an increasingly popular incentive for modern residents. This includes a sprawling landscaped courtyard with ample seating throughout, an outdoor pool, lawn game areas, gas fire pits, and barbecue grills. Residents also have access to a three-tier amphitheater and an irrigated dog run within the grounds, as well as the nearby Harrison Riverwalk.
Additional amenities inside the buildings include a fitness center with access to virtual programming and private trainers, a dual-purpose yoga and children’s room, multiple lounge areas, individual workspaces, conference rooms, and a canteen with vending machines and coffee stations. The community’s party room is an indoor/outdoor space with televisions, a kitchen inside, and access to an outdoor barbecue grill.
Bicycle and private storage cages are also available.
This second phase of leasing introduces a portfolio of 310 apartments, which includes studios and one- and two-bedroom layouts. Monthly rates begin around $1,500 per month via The Marketing Directors, exclusive leasing agent for the community.
