Renovation permits have been filed for a three-story residential building at 138 West 131st Street in Harlem, Manhattan. Located between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, the interior lot is four blocks south of the 135th Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains. Anna Bokov is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The permit calls for the conversion of a single-room occupancy into a one-family dwelling in the 43-foot-tall building. 138 West 131st Street was built in 1886 and has 11 single-room occupancy units. The 2,694-square-foot structure also has a basement, cellar, and a 36-foot-long rear yard.
Bruce Sparano Architect is listed as the architect of record.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
