Located between 195th and 196 Streets, the lot is closest to the 179th Street subway station, serviced by the E and F trains. New York City School Construction Authority is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 58-foot-tall development will yield 136,983 square feet within a concrete-based structure. The building will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.
Andrew Berger of Di Domenico + Partners LLP is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
