Permits have been filed for a 17-story mixed-use building at 374 Fourth Avenue in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Located between 3rd and 6th Streets, the interior lot is a short walk to the 4th Avenue-9th Street subway station, serviced by the F, G, and R trains. Quinlan Development Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 175-foot-tall development will yield 169,726 square feet with 163,696 square feet designated for residential space and 6,030 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 197 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 830 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 40-foot-long side yard, and 30 enclosed parking spaces.
GF55 Partners is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in July for the single-story commercial building that houses a taxi depot. Construction is estimated to be completed by the third quarter of 2024.

Ugh GF55 is the worst, this is going to be a terrible building.
Given the current site is 100% impermeable surfaces(parking lot and buildings), whatever they build here is guaranteed to reduce storm water runoff to some degree.
