Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 35-10 Union Street in Flushing, Queens. Located between Northern Boulevard and 35th Avenue, the lot is closest to the Main Street subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Wy Holding is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 73-foot-tall development will yield 40,258 square feet, with 31,373 square feet designated for residential space and 8,885 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 45 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 697 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, 23 open parking spaces, and 23 enclosed parking spaces.
A&T Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
