This isn’t ” affordable housing” but income based housing which isn’t affordable to anyone but upper middle class and upper class people.
Will the city please stop this bull.No low income person can afford this, they are the ones who need the housing.

Exactly!! This affordable housing needs to be investigated! It’s a scam!
Pretty wretched
You need to stop saying that this apartment is the middle class can not afford it and I know that the lower income doesn’t have an chaninc stop 🛑 lying to the people.
This is some real bull. This is how you change the faces of a neighborhood. Happened in Harlem. Why not here. $170,000.00 income didnt get anything in Manhattan.
New construction costs plus greed and here we are.
Disgusting I’m a nyct transitb worker and this is goes according to gross income believe or not I’m below the income limit and I’ve been a driver for 6 years this is not affordable housing is income based and the apartments are small. It is very wrong nobody from these neighborhoods can afford to live here including myself. You’re forcing thousands of people into horrible situations health wise and financially.I would have to maintain by using credit cards and eating less healthy which would be detrimental to my health and finances
This is OUTRAGEOUS. More like economical WARFARE. IT’S OBVIOUS .
THE GOVERNMENT IS FUNDING THESE DEVELOPERS TO KEEP THE ECONOMY MOVING LIKE CHINA. GOOGLE GOST CITIES IN CHINA.

I agree wholeheartedly with the above comment. In bed stuy thats not affordable for 99percwnt in the area. Wow
Why are they putting these buildings in our communities and we can’t afford to live in them? They state that people in the community get first preference but if it’s not affordable it’s useless!! This is nothing but a plan to get rid of black/brown people from their community!!
They are moving all the low. Income people out of the 5 boroughs ! They building New York but not for US! Where will we live if the rents cost more than your take home?? They say middle class , 176k is not being made by the people that hold New York together like NYPD , NEW YORK CITY TRANSIT, Nurses, and Paramedics
