Permits have been filed for a 20-story mixed-use building at 4650 Broadway in Inwood, Manhattan. Located between Sherman Avenue and Dongan Place, the lot is within walking distance of the two Dyckman Street subway stations, serviced by the 1 and A trains. Joseph Caruso under the Aqozfi Inwood LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 260-foot-tall development will yield 258,443 square feet, with 162,897 square feet designated for residential space, 78,170 square feet for community facility space, and 17,376 square feet of commercial space. The building will have 222 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 733 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and four enclosed parking spaces.
Handel Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in June of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The opening of the lottery, let along building completion probably won’t happen until 2024 at the earliest.

From 200 parking spaces to 222 apartments with only 4 parking spaces. What a neighborhood upgrade!!
It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s incorrect. That’s seems impossibly low. I could see 40 but not 4.
