Bark, one of the world’s largest health and wellness subscription companies for dogs, has signed a 15-year, 52,000-square-foot lease at 120 Broadway in the Financial District of Manhattan. The company is the latest to join a slew of enterprise clients at the newly renovated commercial property.

Formerly headquartered at 221 Canal Street, the brand is slated to occupy the entire 12th floor of 120 Broadway by the end of 2022.

“We are excited to welcome BARK to 120 Broadway,” said Joseph Artusa, senior vice president of leasing at Silverstein Properties. “Bark’s move to the building reflects a larger trend we are seeing of creative and technology companies with younger employees moving to the easily accessible Downtown neighborhood as it continues to evolve into a lively destination for both work and entertainment.”

In 2019, Silverstein Properties with Beyer Blinder Belle Architects completed a $50 million renovation of the building, which now includes a 20,000-square-foot catering and events space on the fourth floor, an 8,000-square-foot communal lounge with a mix of dining and casual recreation space, and a rooftop tenant lounge.

Tenants also have access to INSPIRE, a new hospitality program offering community events, fitness classes, and access to every amenity space and flexible co-working space in the Silverstein portfolio.

  1. Amenity deck or bowling for dollars?

It sure helps that BBB is a tenant in the building – makes travel time to the job site nearly non-existant!

  3. This is great for Downtown. And good for the City. For those who were quick to write-off NYC, and office buildings.
