Permits have been filed for a nine-story residential building at 1824 Anthony Avenue in Tremont, The Bronx. Located between East 175th Street and East 176th Street, the lot is closest to the Tremont Avenue subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Bimi Selimaj of Propco LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 72,017 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 128 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 562 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 35-foot-long rear yard, and 65 enclosed parking spaces.

ENV Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in early December for the two-story residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  2. Great to see the Bx moving forward

  3. 65 parking spaces , for who? Keep up with destroying the planet and encourage people to drive gas guzzlers with these regulations.

  4. If it becomes a shelter they may use about 15 or less parking spaces.
