Permits have been filed for a ten-story commercial building at 424 East 90th Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Located between First Avenue and York Avenue, the interior lot is closest to the 86th Street subway station on Second Avenue, serviced by the Q train. Parkland Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 131-foot-tall development will yield 103,412 square feet designated for commercial space. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and three loading berths.
Richard Bencivenga of Tao Architecture + Design is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in April of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
