Leasing is now underway at One Clinton Park, a new 28-story mixed-use tower with 352 rental units. Located at 55 Clinton Place in New Rochelle, One Clinton Park is RXR Realty’s latest development in the city’s downtown neighborhood and is on track to open this spring.

RXR launched leasing for the property in partnership with Greystar Real Estate Partners. Two Clinton Park, a sister development, is also set to break ground in spring 2022.

“Located in the heart of a historic and vibrant community, One Clinton Park is part of a complementary set of two new residential towers we have planned for the burgeoning downtown New Rochelle area,” said Joanne Minieri, senior executive vice president, chief operating officer of development and construction, RXR. “With a full suite of amenities, innovative design, and captivating views, the tower truly redefines the meaning of live, work, and play for New Rochelle residents and families.”

Designed by PS&S and MdeAS Architects, the building features a sleek façade comprised of blue glass that gently curves inward on each side. Apartments feature open layouts enclosed in floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an abundance of natural light and views of the surrounding city.

Residential floor plans range from one- to three-bedroom units and include smart home technology and in-unit washer-dryers. Indoor amenities include a fitness center, co-working space, a children’s playroom, and a pet spa. The building also houses Gibson’s Speakeasy, a venue named after Charles Dana Gibson, a prominent local resident who worked as an illustrator for Life Magazine and other national publications. The tenant-only amenity functions as both a bar and a coworking space.

The property’s 8,000 square feet of outdoor space is spread across two landscaped terraces with barbecues, turf lawns, fireplaces, a dog run, and a gaming area. A 16,000-square-foot landscaped outdoor plaza on Clinton Place will be accessible to residents and public pedestrians.

“We are thrilled to begin leasing at One Clinton Park and bring to market a building that offers a rare and prized combination: the convenience and energy of a growing neighborhood with the bustling New Rochelle waterfront district just moments away,” said Jarrod Whitaker, senior vice president of residential operations, RXR. “As part of downtown’s revitalization, One Clinton Park will deliver 352 new apartments, extensive outdoor, and retail space, and contribute to the overall strength and vibrancy of the New Rochelle community.”

  1. The siting seems uncomfortable and the architecture more suited to downtown Dallas than a beautiful and historical suburb….the talented architects might have soften the shapes and the materials to feel a bit more like New Rochelle – while density at the railroad stations feeding the city is always a great idea, it would be ideal if New Rochelle was to feel like New Rochelle.

    • I agree. Toronto is so spolied in this regard.

Id also like to see a push in height. To break up this 25-30 floor plateau thats developing.

  2. All these luxury buildings being built in downtown New Rochelle I believe will not all be occupied because there is not the demand to live in New Rochelle as is being presented. Many of those units will have to go below market rate to be rented.
