Located between 2nd and 3rd Streets, the lot is closest to the Astoria Boulevard subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Yitzchok Katz of Developing NY State is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 111,862 square feet, with 93,612 square feet designated for residential space and 18,249 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 137 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 683 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 60-foot-long rear yard and 69 open parking spaces.
FNA Engineering Services PC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
