Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 850 Lexington Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Ralph Avenue and Patchen Avenue, the lot is one block north of the Freeman Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Solomon Equities is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 76-foot-tall development will yield 65,351 square feet, with 62,195 square feet designated for residential space and 3,155 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 89 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 698 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 50 enclosed parking spaces.
Issac & Stern Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
