Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a four-story residential building at 433 Vermont Street in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between Blake Avenue and Sutter Avenue, the interior lot is two blocks from the Van Siclen Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Joel Friedman is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 42-foot-tall development will yield 6,995 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 11 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 635 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 44-foot-long rear yard.

Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
