Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 14-09 31st Avenue in Astoria, Queens. Located between 14th Street and 21st Street, the lot is closest to the 30th Avenue subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. 1409 Astoria LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 4,763 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have seven residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 680 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a penthouse and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Carusone & Cherres Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
