Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building with affordable housing at 365 Shepherd Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between Liberty Avenue and Glenmore Avenue, the interior lot is one block north of the Shepherd Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Lois Murphy of Shepherd Glenmore HDFC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 73-foot-tall development will yield 73,358 square feet, with 68,422 square feet designated for residential space and 4,936 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 123 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 556 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 33-foot-long rear yard.
Michael Gelfand of MHG Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

MHG sounds either delicious or schedule 1 deadly.
I would incorporate that “historic” graffiti covered fence into the facade! 🤗🤣
