Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 2795 Cropsey Avenue in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Located between Bay 47th Street and 28th Avenue, the lot is closest to the Bay 50th Street subway station, serviced by the D train. Bentley Zhao of New Empire Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 43-foot-tall development will yield 10,239 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 14 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 731 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a 30-foot-long rear yard and 12 open parking spaces.
Garrison Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in October 2022 for the single-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
