Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 906 Gates Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Malcolm X Boulevard and Patchen Avenue, the lot is two blocks west of the Gates Avenue subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains. Fajeza Industries LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 5,984 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have nine residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 664 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Hackjong Choi of HC Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Full demolition permits have not been filed for the vacant structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
