Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 920 Metropolitan Avenue in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Olive Street and Catherine Street, the interior lot is in walking distance of the Grand Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Antonio Ambrosino of Ambrosino Construction Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 5,545 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have seven residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,004 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 40-foot-long rear yard.
Joseph Vance Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in September 2021 for the single-story warehouse on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
