The affordable housing lottery has launched for 11 Lewis Avenue, a four-story residential building in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by Engineering Consultant Services and developed by F. Goldberger under the 11 Lewis LLC, the structure yields 13 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $99,326 to $138,840.

New tenants get three months of free rent with lease signing. Amenities include virtual doorman, shared laundry room on each floor, security cameras, and pet-friendly policies. Residences come with air conditioning, dishwashers, split unit heating and cooling, name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes, intercoms, and hardwood floors. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are four studios with a monthly rent of $2,897 for incomes ranging from $99,326 to $138,840.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 11, 2023.

  1. What a joke to try and call this “affordable housing”
    This is INCOME LINKED HOUSING and only affordable to upper income people, not the low income people who desperately need this housing.
    So the millionaire developer builds 3UNITS at 130% AMI and gets the NYS taxpayer 421A subsidy, ridiculous!
    At 130 percent of the AMI, there are four studios with a monthly rent of $2,897 for incomes ranging from $99,326 to $138,840.
