The Rockefeller Group has revealed a new 147,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center at 10 Constitution Avenue in Piscataway, New Jersey. The 18-acre site is currently occupied by a 100,000-square-foot office building that will soon be razed to make way for the new property.
Renderings of the building depict a simple gray and white façade typically seen for this type of industrial property. The entrance of the building, however, features a glass corner wall that nearly extends the full height of the structure.
When complete, the interiors will feature 36-foot ceiling spans and 41 loading docks. The surface-level parking lot surrounding the property is designed to accommodate 123 cars and 57 trailers.
“We learned from the success of the 2.1 million square foot logistics center we developed in the township in 2018 that Piscataway is a great place to do business,” said Heath Abramsohn, vice president and regional director for Rockefeller Group. “We are excited for our second industrial development project in the township, which has become one of the top locations for logistics and distribution hubs.”
Atlantic Real Estate Services represented Rockefeller Group in its purchase of the development site from WS Audiology/Sivantos Group.
The building is expected to debut in the second quarter of 2024.
