Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a six-story mixed-use building at 711 Kings Highway in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Located between East 7th Street and East 8th Street, the lot is near the Kings Highway subway station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Charles Ishay is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 13,280 square feet, with 9,316 square feet designated for residential space and 3,964 square feet for commercial space. The building will have nine residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,035 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 54-foot-long rear yard.
Bricolage Designs is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the permits call for a vertical expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

I thought Bricolage had died out. Maybe they produce better quality now. Or not.
