United Construction and Development Group has revealed renderings for a three-tower residential complex at 93-30 93rd Street in Rego Park, Queens. Located on a wedge-shaped lot that faces the Long Island Expressway service road, the site is currently vacant and is zoned for up to 670,000 buildable square feet.

When complete, the buildings will contain up to 706 apartments, an unspecified collection of amenity spaces, 200,000 square feet of commercial space, and 806 parking spaces. Each building will also feature a reflective glass curtain wall, glass enclosed balconies, and a simple concrete cornice.

Maxim Capital Group provided United Construction with a $40 million loan to acquire the site from Vornado. The total sale price was around $70 million, a discount from the $85 million Vornado was asking for when first listed two years ago.

A JLL team brokered the sale.

  1. No way that’s the actual design.

  2. Talk about bland.

  3. More parking spaces than units? Just terrible

    • I think the vacant lot was a commercial parking lot until recently so the large number of parking spaces probably includes a replacement for those, not that it is necessarily a good policy to have these many spaces.

  4. 806 parking space and the three buildings are ugly to the max.

  5. ridiculous that theres more parking than units, and of course it’s gonna be right next to the LIE (which needs to be torn down or buried). plus the rendering looks bland as hell

  6. Is this Legos?

  7. When is it going to start?
Probably more parking for nearby residents.
