Maynooth Holdings has won approvals to construct a mixed-use rental building at 132 Halstead Avenue in Harrison, Westchester County. When complete, the four-story building will contain a mix of ground-floor commercial space, a parking garage, 12 apartments, and a small collection of amenities.

In addition to site plan approvals from the Harrison Planning Board, Maynooth Holdings was also granted multiple area variances from the Zoning Board of Appeals to permit construction of a dense mixed-use residential property.

The approved scope of work includes the demolition of a century-old retail space that has fallen into disrepair. As part of the agreement, the developer has also agreed to improve surrounding environmental conditions by installing stormwater flood mitigation improvements, as well as native trees and shrubs.

The project team has not announced an anticipated date of completion.
