Lincoln Equities Group and H.I.G. Realty have announced plans to construct three new specialty manufacturing and biotech buildings at the Princeton West Innovation Campus in Hopewell, New Jersey. The commercial campus is located at 311 Pennington Rocky Hill and currently has 915,000 square feet of leasable space, plus an additional 35 acres of undeveloped land.
The entire campus comprises around 433 acres. This latest project will bring another 380,000 square feet of built-up-area to the campus.
Renderings of the project reveal a series of low-rise structures and a parking garage with varying façades. The buildings are positioned around a central courtyard with seasonal plantings.
“New Jersey remains one of the nation’s leading centers of life science innovation and the Princeton West Innovation Campus sits at its heart,” said Joel Bergstein, president of Lincoln Equities Group. “We are excited to move forward with our plans to further enhance the property with the type of advanced R&D and manufacturing space the industry demands.”
The campus’ previous owner Bristol-Myers Squibb completed more than $500 million in capital improvements to the property. Today, the property features 33 completed buildings and supports biological product development and clinical manufacturing facilities, R&D support facilities, general office buildings, and biosafety laboratories. There is also a fitness center for tenants, a child development center, conferencing space, a parking garage, walking paths, and a 190-acre working farm.
