Asbury Park will soon be home to a new condominium building at 115 Fourth Avenue, just one block away from the city’s iconic boardwalk. Inspired by Somerset Development is the entity behind the project and Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners will oversee design.
Renderings of the property show a sprawling structure with a three-story podium and a pair of residential volumes that rise above an expansive roof deck with two swimming pools. The concrete structure features a simple glass façade with light gray support structures and inlay lighting.
“This project represents our unwavering commitment to creating magnetic and thoughtfully designed living spaces that redefine the surrounding markets,” said Ralph Zucker, CEO of Inspired by Somerset Development. “Following unanimous site plan approval, we’re thrilled to get started on what we believe will be a transformational property not only for Asbury Park but all of New Jersey.”
Available units will range from one- to three-bedroom floor plans, all equipped with name-brand fixtures and appliances, a private terrace or balcony, and clear views of the Atlantic Ocean. The most premium units will also include a private plunge pool and 20-foot ceiling spans.
Amenity spaces inside the property will include a resident lounge, a spa, a fitness center, a golf simulator, and a ground-floor storage facility. Tenants will also have access to outdoor barbecue grills, fire pits, a private courtyard, and two pools.
The building’s ground floor will also contain more than 9,300 square feet of retail space. Additional conveniences include a private three-story parking garage located between the two towers. The garage is designed to accommodate up to 264 vehicles.
Construction is expected to break ground next year.

I hope this succeeds. Asbury Park has a sad history of failed development. The formerly grand Warren and Wetmore boardwalk pavilions have been allowed to decay despite a redevelopment plan.
These will be condos, not rentals …
Let’s go to the Wonder Bar
