The affordable housing lottery has launched for 219 Lenox Road, a seven-story residential building in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Developed by Joseph Lichtman under the 219 Lenox Realty LLC and designed by N.A. Design Studio, the structure yields 50 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 15 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $98,915 to $165,230.

Amenities include an elevator, an on-site garage, bike storage lockers, package lockers, common area wifi, gym, a recreation room, and a rooftop terrace. Residences come equipped with washers and dryers, air conditioning, hardwood floors, energy-efficient appliances, high-speed internet, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are four studios with a monthly rent of $2,885 for incomes ranging from $98,915 to $146,900; and 11 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,080 for incomes ranging from $105,600 to $165,230.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than October 26, 2023.

    trying to call this affordable housing , when it’s actually INCOME TARGETED HOUSING FOR UPPER INCOME PEOPLE ONLY.

    NYS taxpayers subsidized this millionaire developer with the now dead 421A program to build
