Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 1009 Decatur Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Broadway and Bushwick Avenue, the lot is near the Chauncey Street subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains and Wilson Avenue, serviced by the L train. Chiem Sachs of Firerush LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 7,498 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 937 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Ivan Shcherbakov is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
