The affordable housing lottery has launched for 3831 Carpenter Avenue, a six-story mixed-use building in Williamsbridge, The Bronx. Designed by Node Architecture Engineering Consulting and developed by Alban Haxhari of KGCJ Development Corp., the structure yields 30 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are nine units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $85,303 to $165,230.

Amenities include an elevator, on-site parking, bike storage lockers, shared laundry room, and a planting area. Units include intercoms, name-brand appliances and finishes, air conditioning, and hardwood floors. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three studios with a monthly rent of $2,488 for incomes ranging from $85,303 to $146,900, and six one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,539 for incomes ranging from $87,052 to $165,230.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than April 1, 2024.
