Permits have been filed for a three-story residential building at 21-31 Shore Boulevard in Astoria, Queens. Located near the intersection of 21st Road and Shore Boulevard, the lot is near the Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Daniel Kaykov of Giron Contracting Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 33-foot-tall development will yield 17,827 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 17 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,048 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 35-foot-long side yard, and 12 open parking spaces.
Paul Lombardi of Design Studio Associates is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
